The past few months I've been making freezer meals. I love it!!!! I make about 12-14 meals to put in the freezer and I have meals ready to go for the next month. 12-14 is a good number for our family. We usually have leftovers, which is good. Other nights we may just have burgers on the grill, a salad for dinner (Applebee's Asian Chicken Salad is a family fave! I'll post that recipe later!) or we may just be in the mood for ramen noodles!
Today I made:
Manly Ham Quiche (2 of 'em)
Swiss Chicken
Pizza Pasta Casserole (2 of these)
Easy Gourmet Chicken Pot Pie (2 again)
Fake Lasagna (2 again--we had 1 of them for dinner tonight and it was delish!)
Beef & Been Taco Casserole
Pork Chops & Limas (2-please!)
Savory Beef
Chicken Spaghetti (2)
Delicious Freezer Gyro's
Slow Cooker Rosemary Chicken Pasta
Chicken and Spuds
That turned out to be 17 meals ready to heat and eat!!!
Here's the recipe for:
Pork Chops & Limas
8 loin pork chops
10 oz frozen lima beans
1 lg apple, chopped
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1 tea dried sage
salt & pepper to taste
Brown chops; drain and cool on paper towel.
Run cold water over lima beans to separate (do not thaw).
Mix all ingredients except the chops and place in freezer bag.
Add chops.
Freeze.
To bake: thaw, bake uncovered at 350 for 1 hour.
Makes great gravy, so have mashed potatoes!

You are so organized, Suzanne! I have a cookbook with recipes for freezing a month's worth of meals at a time, but I've never done it -- you can borrow the book if you want more freezer-friendly ideas!
Ya, I did win Giveaway Today and was probably more excited about that than necessary :) Have a great weekend!
Hey Suz! I featured your article today because it's so cool. Come visit me and check it out! Love ya!
